It can be challenging to find a tasty holiday treat when you are gluten-free. However, Collin and I found a fantastic recipe from Love, Life, and Sugar for homemade caramel that comes out perfectly every time. We love to eat it on fresh apples (which may actually transform it into health food) or even put it in our coffee. We liked it so much that we gave it as gifts to friends and family last year. Now, they are asking us to make it again this year. We water bath can small jars to give and to keep on hand. This way, we do not have to worry about keeping it refrigerated until we open it.
